The Madison Savoyards began in 1963 with a production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe, and we annually present a staged production of a Gilbert and Sullivan or other light opera. Our fully-staged productions with live orchestra provide performance opportunities for young artists, community members, and emerging professionals, through English-language comic operas that are fun for audiences of all ages.Madison Savoyards welcomes and includes all people regardless of age, race, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, or religion.

It is the mission of the Madison Savoyards, Ltd. to preserve the works of Gilbert and Sullivan and other light opera by producing and promoting live performances; to develop the skills and talent of cast, crew, and musicians of all ages; and to inspire, entertain, and educate the community through performances and other initiatives. Grace Presents is dedicated to sharing free, diverse musical programming by local and regional performers to the people of Madison. Grace Presents is funded in part by grants from Dane Arts, the Madison Arts Commission, and Wisconsin Arts Board, as well as individual donations.
